The Market

Adding to our Nigerian portfolio, SLT Architects along with our award-wining team of commercial architects, were commissioned to design the mixed-use shopping and office development complex for city improvement to the Lagos CBD.

The aim was to develop the underused land and to maximize the utilization by 7 times.  This mixed-use development is a one-stop shopping experience, catering and providing shopping space for local informal traders.

The 8 storey building comprises of 1069 market stalls (from 2.25 unique foldout cubicles up to 20m² formal shops), 375 ground level storage units, four 50 seater cinemas and 54 roof terrace food market stalls. The roof terrace and cinemas are located above of a 3 floor covered carpark.
