Located on the busy Maputo Bay promenade, the project will consist of new commercial office space, a retail & restaurant component, basement street level parking and associated building services.

Our talented commercial architects envision the idea of an iconic building, using hierarchy in orientation and form by rotating the building off the regular street axis, allowing tenants the full advantage of the views over Maputo Bay and North orientation, optimised to allow maximum natural light to enter the office spaces.

By minimising the building envelope, cost is reduced. This is achieved by intersecting two rectangular forms in plan, which creates an effective position for the building’s services core and aids multiple, flexible office space entries.

The building space hierarchy is applied trough the vertical movement from public street level to private office space zones. The building is placed on a podium which houses the parking facilities and creates an elevated platform for the retail and restaurant components, resulting in a usable exterior space which allows users the benefit of the tropical climate and beautiful views over Maputo Bay.

Working in Mozambique, our award-winning team of retail architects have completed Matola Mall, consisting of 53 shops, restaurants, banks and retail outlets to serve this growing metropolis.
